Bamboo Girl Zine is an independent print (not web) publication with a run of 2,000-3,000. It is printed as often as financially possible - which means either annually or biannually. It is funded in part by the yearly Bamboo Girl Zine Benefit Parties, which usually take place during summer/very early fall; but most funds come from my own pocket. A total labor of love; it's not about profit, but about creating internal dialogues.

This website serves to inform folks about Bamboo Girl Zine, give updates on upcoming issues, personal speaking engagements and events, and offers Bamboo Girl merchandise for sale, such as the ever-popular tee shirts, stickers, etc. For the latter, check out the Bamboo Girl Zine Emporium!

What is Bamboo Girl Zine about? The manifesto:

"Challenging racism, sexism, & homophobia from the Filipina/Asian Pacific Islander (API)/Asian mutt feminist point of view since 1995."

Because life isn't only Black & White. There's more to life than straight white male patriarchy. And there are many stories to tell. Mine & others'. Our collective voice can create new truths.
