I welcome submissions by women & men of API & Filipina/o descent in their various forms, and am most partial to personal essays, pieces, artwork, illustrations, photography, and graphic design. As Bamboo Girl Zine's not necessarily a literary magazine, I don't always include works of poetry or prose, though I will consider them as well.

I have no stringent guidelines, but have one requirement:
no sexist, racist or homophobic content will be accepted! And the more thought out, the better. Rants can be nice, but thought out rants are nicer.

Please limit it to about 5 pages at most.

It's best to send submissions via email.

In addition, I am not a mail order bride or Filipina penpal hookup service, so you best back up if you think I'll accept those requests!
